“Houseguest” Episode Four: Sotheby’s International Realty presents the fourth and final episode of their groundbreaking new video series. This series has followed influential and inspirational people as they become houseguests in homes represented by the Sotheby’s International Realty brand and meld their lives with the unique lifestyle found within their extraordinary accommodations.
In Houseguest Episode Four, renowned Philadelphia Italian chef Joe Cicala visits Via Capello, a secluded villa located minutes outside of Florence, Italy. In this stunning countryside estate, Cicala is inspired to cook one of the well-known dishes of this area of Italy, Tagliatelle with Pork Sausage and Mushroom Ragu. Having traveled to central Italy many times over the years, I really enjoyed this episode of Houseguest, but be warned — your mouth may water when you see his creation!
Via Capello is a stunning 25,000 square foot estate in Italy’s Chianti region. Designed by renowned architect Giuseppe Poggi at the end of the 19th century, the home is situated on 247 acres and features 18 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Via Capello is one of the many premier properties worldwide represented by Sotheby’s International Realty. This property is no longer on the market.
